I had the urge to play this piece after seeing a classic
moment the other day of a semi 18 wheeler going
down main street with a young lad standing on the side
of the road pumping the air as the rig was going by.
Yes, in case you were wondering, the little boy got
the typical response from the driver…an empty bottle
of whiskey thrown at him with a one fingered salute
to back it up.
It seems to me that the back of your mouth is not a
good place to nurse a crippled gopher back to health…
