Comedy 101 Radio 9.3.20

A Labor Day show of sorts.
Thinking of the blue collar worker first and foremost
but not exclusively, we all toil in one way or another.
Oscar Brand gets the nod to start things off.
He was an absolute godsend for many folk singers
and entertainers that needed some exposure, being
the host of the longest running radio program in history
he gave a platform to many an artist.
I’ve been on the air for almost thirty years, he went for
more than SEVENTY!
A civil rights champion and defender of the less than
fortunate, Oscar has my respect.
Brian Regan with a very funny set on past jobs.
Dave Dingwall gets some play for his blue collar classic.
Chuck Lucky made some poor work place choices.
John Cleese nearly got in at Hendon.
I quote that sketch almost every day of my life.
Some superb lines in that one.
The Royal Canadian Air Farce with a frigid classic.
Tommy Ryman spins a great tale of grocery shopping.
Ahmed Ahmed with a funny set.
Subplot A knows how to write an excellent novelty song.
His performance is even better.
Jonathan Coulton makes a sad.
The Asylum Street Spankers with a tale of awesome.
Daniel Tosh has it figured out.
Onward and upward…
