An interesting movie, Rango was released in 2011 to decent reviews.
The premise is fresh, although it does use older more established
tropes it does it in a way that seems new.
One thing that puzzles me about casting famous people in animated
films, as they did with Brad Delp here as the voice of Rango…why?!
I’ve never understood why paying someone, known for their acting
skills and good looks, a large sum of money for neither attribute is a
good business model.
Any number of struggling actors could have pulled that off, maybe
even better than what we see here, just my two cents.
A good, entertaining flick, time well spent…
