I got nostalgic this week.
Spike Jones was the granddaddy of all that is novelty song.
And I am a sucker for a good Peter Lorre impersonation.
And a bad one, now that I think of it.
Mr. Moto was not politically correct but was thoroughly
enjoyable…showing my age a bit there.

A Running block, I got creative.
Dave Kinne actually contacted me one day.
He saw that I had played his signature song and he wanted
me to prove to his co-workers, who did not believe that he
actually performed comedy, that it was indeed him singing.
I followed through with his request and was met with
surprise and delight, a cool experience was had by all.
Brian Regan has been the ruler of Snark Comedy for a
long while now, and it does not look like he’ll be giving
that title up anytime soon.

Big Daddy Graham needs a new girlfriend, seriously.
The Four Postmen with a smart, interesting piece, one of
the better comedy song/sketch hybrids out there.
It’s always good to hear from George.

Oh, there’s a surprise.
The Hostage is a fine comedy sketch with a moral.
If you eat more you will be less inclined to do crime.
