Napoleon XIV, aka Jerry Samuels, hit the airwaves with an
insanity inspired album back in 1966.
The song They’re Coming to Take Me Away was a huge but
controversial hit.
All of the tunes off the record dealt with madness.
And I’m not talking the irate kind.
It was glorious.
Finally a recording artist that can speak to me!
This one is almost scary dark.
There is definitely something wrong with this boy.
I wouldn’t want to live next door to him, but I would
like to keep him as a friend…
