This is a great piece of musical lunacy by one of the
zaniest, and funniest, blokes to ever hit the stage.
He really did have a hand in just about anything funny
that came out of Britain during the 50s, 60s, 70s,
and even wee bit of the 80s.
A Mel Brooks movie cast favorite, he appeared in Young
Frankenstein and Silent Movie, enhancing both films mightily.
He passed away in 1982 immediately after the filming of
the comedy flick “Yellowbeard”.
As to the cause of death, Mel Brooks cites factors that may
have contributed to Feldman’s death: “He smoked sometimes
half-a-carton (5 packs) of cigarettes daily, drank copious
amounts of black coffee, and ate a diet rich in eggs and
dairy products”.
