Springtime for Hitler

A bit early perhaps, Spring doesn’t start for a couple of weeks,
but considering the current state of politics in this country I
though it might be a good fit.
Mel Brook’s classic 1968 flick “The Producers” was all about
producing a movie that would fail miserably for reasons of a
sizable tax write-off, little did they know it would become a
huge hit messing up their plans.
A smart, well though out piece of cinema that was made only
two decades after WWII ended, it should have done poorly
but it’s classic status was cemented as a superb parody, with
much satire thrown in, for ages to come…
