This is a hoot.
Jack Elam was a pretty famous actor in the movies for a long time,
way back in the day.
He played heavies, criminal and bad guy types, mostly in westerns.
And he played them well, over the top and heavy as Hell.
He had an accident early in life that left him with a lazy eye, it seemed to
add mightily to his menacing look, perfect for the roles he was good at.
In the 1970’s he appeared in this Burt Reynolds flick, and it brought him
back into the spotlight.
A pretty delightful scene, if you like scary doctor types…
