Henny Youngman was born back in 1906!
I remember standing in line at the Carnegie Deli
in Manhattan when in walked Henny…to the front of
the line of course.
He ordered the same thing he always did,
the Henny Youngman club sandwich!
According to the waitress, if you’re a famous New Yorker
and you get a sandwich named after you it’s free!
And, she stated, he NEVER passed up a free sandwich, he was
in every day to pick it up.
Happy Birthday Henny!
