This is the beginning clip from a British horror comedy that
came out in 2004 called Shaun of the Dead.
Written by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright, it stars Simon as
a forlorn guy who was just dumped by his long time girlfriend
and Nick Frost a partying friend of Simon’s who joins in with
the zombie bashing once the fun starts.
This scene is hilarious in that Simon (Shaun) is oblivious to
all of the zombies, and the destruction they leave in their
wake, as he shakes off the morning fog and saunters to the local
store for supplies.
There are more than a few telltale signs that things are amiss.
The bloodstains on just about everything would have tipped
me off.
One naughty bit towards the middle, its is widely known that
Zombies detest profanity and it was uttered to confuse and
deny them brains…

Kyle Kinane with some timeless observations.
He’s a very funny man, always a joy to play him on the show.
A very descriptive stand-up comedian, and quite good…

Eugene Chadbourne with a tune about sharing.
It touches a little on the fact that my dog is not
getting enough cheese, but we can get into that
at a later date.
Sharpen your shovels lads, we’re going in…

A thoroughly splendid scene from a classic movie.
The Princess Bride hit the theaters back in 1987.
Directed by Rob Reiner the flick when on to cult status
pretty quickly, it had many things traditional cinema did not.
This piece has some really good dialogue in it that inspires.
Cary Elwes and Mandy Patinkin star as Westley and Inigo Montoya.
They start off as foes but their relationship turns into something
else entirely, a wonderful movie everyone should enjoy.
Some nice back and forth here…

A great bit by Juston McKinney.
I can relate, I’m getting old and I still love to party.
Being careful is key, not too much, don’t over do it.
You don’t have to stop, be smarter…
