This is one of my favorite comedy sketches of all time.
It was done back in the 1950s by a comedy duo that
paved the way for many later troupes, to say that it
was ahead of it’s time would be an understatement.
The late, great Mike Nichols teamed up with Elaine
May to make some of the best comedy skits on the
planet, they also went on to producing some of the
best movies in cinema after they broke up.
The only thing that dates this piece is the reference to
pricing of a hospital bed, nowadays that figure wouldn’t
pay for two aspirin.
Irreverence, arrogance, and elitism all are here in full
