My Grandad the Priest

David Crowe is a very talented stand-up comedian.
He is very into his craft, much enthusiasm and thought
goes into his performances.
It helps when you’re as smart as he is, that can and often
does add to a comedian’s act.
This is a good piece…

The Devil

A superb comedy sketch classic by a master of his craft.
Seriously, if all you’ve seen is his Mr. Bean persona you are
going to love the depth of Rowan Atkinson and what he can do.
Starting off with Not the 9:00 News in the late 1970’s right up
through Black Adder, Johnny English, The Thin Blue Line, and
many other movies, television shows and guest spots, he has
amassed an impressive resume over the years.
This is from his One Man Show tour back in the 1980’s.
Some great lines hereā€¦

Hello and Goodbye

A classic George Carlin piece from 1986.
A live performance off of the Playin’ With Your Head recording.
That just might be his most commercially viable release, many
top shelf tracks mace it a real keeper.
A few naughty bits here but nothing too severe, it’s Carlin not
Bozo the Clown…

The Sword Fight

A great scene from a classic movie.
Cary Elwes and Mandy Patinkin go at each other
with large, sharp implements.
Not without manners mind you, they are the epitome
of class and distinction, not to mention respect.
It’s a fun performance to watch, not your typical
good-guy bad-guy scenario, a touch of humanity
really adds to the moment.
The Princess Bride, from 1987…
