the Metric System in this country for years now.
We are the LAST industrialized nation to do so.
Not bragging, embarrassed is the mind set.
The weird thing is most of the professional folks
in America already use it…scientists, teachers,
engineers, and even drug dealers have been on
that ship for quite a long time.
It’s a political ploy, playing to the common folk.
What makes it even sillier is they claim that OUR
system needn’t be tied to another countries
standard “when ours will do just fine!”.
FYI, the 12″ measurement we call a foot is actually
taken from the actual length of the King of England’s
foot as measured way back when.
Nothing foreign needed, indeed…
