It was only his proof of insurance

The late, great Tracy Thielen, lead vocalist and chief song
writer for Ace T and the Hindenburg Ground Crew, was a
very talented man.
His group is noted for some superb comedic pieces like
Kitty Mambo, Crazy and a multitude of others…cuts that
I am happy as Hades to play on the show.
This cut is a dark and depressing little song, but not without
a sense of humor, a theme that Tracy embraced in a lot of his
work…Pistol To Me!

I’ll post some of his funnier stuff in the future, albeit
in a fan tribute format as nothing of his was produced in
a video.

I’m sorry

Anthony Griffith is one of those rare comedians that don’t
feel the need to be crude or use profanity in his act.
Don’t get me wrong, there are many good stand-up folks that
are funny and turn the air blue while on stage, but it does
take talent to be an observational comedian AND be hilarious.
Being the host of a radio based comedy show I can appreciate
it when I find a funny individual that I don’t have to edit!
Having said that Mr. Griffith is a very entertaining man
and I will continue to promote and give him air time as long
as he makes me laugh.
Here he is talking about…what to say, and when.

Nice material!

Leaping Leaping Everywhere

The late greats Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were once
television stars, hosting their own BBC show in the 60s.
“Not Only…but Also” aired for a few years and produced some
memorable sketches, the kind that can be enjoyed in both
audio and video forms, great material for Comedy 101 Radio.
Here’s a good one with Dudley as the interviewer and Peter
as…Mother Superior!

Way ahead of it’s time!

I’ve got my pedal to the metal

Wammo and Guy Forsyth, both founding members of the
Asylum Street Spankers, have toured together and made
some great music for us to enjoy.
Here they are doing a song that Wammo wrote and performed
both solo and with the Spankers…Hick Hop!
One little f-bomb around the 4:15 mark, but because we’re
all adults I really didn’t need to tell you that.

More to come!
