This version, by Tom Lehrer, is really good.
From a wonderful Copenhagen recording made in 1967…
What a talent!

This is a classic piece by Kathleen Madigan, it doesn’t
get much better than this.
I laughed out loud the first time…
by one of my all time favorite bands ever, Darby O’Gill!
This is a great St. Pat’s song.
I love the banter!
Enjoyed that!
This is a funny one from Hale and Pace.
A cheap, less than stellar, St. Patricks Day “Let’s drink
beer until we puke!” stereotype that would usually be
beneath me but in my old age nothing is anymore.
Regardless, this is mildly entertaining, somewhat…
More to come!
with your host…Jason Hadley!
Have a great week!
When you first see/hear Henry Cho you may do a double take.
He’s a Korean man who grew up, and raised a family, in Tennessee.
His accent is a southern drawl and he looks Asian, not what
one would expect, but don’t let that keep you away, he’s a
very funny stand-up comedian.
I play him on the show and the listeners like him, he’s an
observational type of comic that we all can identify with.
Here he is doing a classic piece of his about an old
friend that he grew up with…
Good stuff!
Tom T Hall singing a classic song that he wrote a while back.
Can you guess the name…?
Sluuuuuurp!
This is a real treat.
I’ve been playing the genius known as Darby O’Gill on the
show for quite a while now, they are superbly funny and
have a stage presence like no other, their banter is sublime.
I interviewed Scott Messer, the lead singer, a while back
and he was very cordial, humorous and informative.
I’ll be playing another piece of theirs a bit closer to
St. Patrick’s Day but I wanted to show you fine folks
how talented they were as a lead in to it.
Here they are doing a real tongue twister called…
The Rattlin’ Bog! (a fan tribute, with One Punch Mickey!)
More to come!
That would be James P Connolly, a really good stand-up
comedian that I have been playing on the show for some time now.
He really is a treat when hitting on all eight cylinders!
Why did I just use a phrase that became obsolete twenty years ago?!
No idea…let’s move on.
Jim is funny, here he is doing a set at the Detroit Comedy Festival
back in 2010…
More to come!

Have a great weekend!
