This is the infamous Superhero Sketch from the fourth year
of Saturday Night Live. Most of the original Not Ready for
Prime Time Players are here and NO, it ISN’T supposed to
smell like roses…

White Clutter
Juston McKinney is a talented stand-up comedian, from my
home state of New Hampshire, who never fails to make
me laugh out loud. I’ve seen him live, interviewed the
heck out of him and find him to be gracious, funny and a
great performer, highly recommended…
Fart Man
Someone doesn’t like his lot in life!
With great powers come great responsibilities,
and a change of shorts…
Deteriorata
I have always like this piece. It’s done by Norman Rose and
Melissa Manchester and it’s a parody of the famous Max Ehrmann
poem from 1927. Talk about great imagery…
Little League
Tom Wilson is a very funny man. He has stage personality to
spare, a great sense of humor and he is a little on the sick side!
All great qualities to have in life, I might add. Cute song…
The Nascar Song
This is a fun little song with great imagery.
Composed and sung by the very talented Steve Goodie.
I have a friend who goes nuts over Nascar, he hates
this song. To him I dedicate it…
Superman’s Marriage
To keep this weeks Super Hero theme going I thought I’d
post this gem from Robot Chicken.
The Man of Steel appears to be Super Whipped…
Opposites Attract
As proclaimed by Mike Birbiglia!
Words of wisdom, come to think of it.
This is a sweet little piece of Mike’s life
told like only he could. We all know people
like he describes, I grew up with all of them…
Ain’t We Crazy
as firmly stated by Sam Hinton!
I play this tune on the show by both Harry McClintock
and this gentleman, Sam Hinton.
Harry’s is from 1950 and this one is from 1963.
I’m not sure which one I like better, they are both
very good, should be my theme song…
Continental Screw
This is a great parody from Robert Klein, one of the funniest
men on the planet at one time. Had his hand in all sorts of
comedy…
