Crabs Walk Sideways
This is the first piece that I ever heard from
the Smothers Brothers!
A hilarious bit, mixing song and dialogue together
to make a comedy classic.
Witty and quite wonderful…
Nice one!
Mr. Veedle
This is a superb performance by Lily Tomlin!
Back when the telephone company was called Ma Bell
and they were the ONLY phone company on the block.
The premise is still quite sound and the humor is
absolutely sublime, she rivals Bob Newhart when it
comes to the “One Sided Conversation”.
I played this on the show last night, great stuff…
Could Make it Worse
On This Day in History
Kathleen Madigan was born back in 1965!
One of the funniest beings on the planet,
she kills whenever she’s on stage.
This is a really funny bit about her mom and
why you shouldn’t ask her if she has any aspirin…
That’s Wight
On This Day in History
The late, great Madeline Hahn was born back in 1942!
I absolutely loved her roles in the few Mel Brooks
flicks that she starred in, superb and wonderful stuff.
This is a really iconic scene from Blazing Saddles, with
Cleavon Little is the sheriff and Madeline is Lili Von Shtupp!
There is some serious back story to this scene.
Supposedly, Mel’s wife, Anne Bancroft, put the kibosh
on some lines that Madeline was supposed to utter during
the lights out part!
It’s Twue, It’s Twue… 🙂
And Finish ’em Off With Croutons!
Accountant Song
Fast and Dirty with a very funny ode to the
pencil pusher in all of us!
These guys are fun, glad to play them on the show…
