No News, or What Killed the Dog
This is an oldie but a goodie!
It goes way back to 1908, as done by a well known
performer at the time, Nat M. Wills.
It’s old but the premise of the humor holds up
very well indeed.
I play a more well known version of it on the show by
Frank Crumit, that one was done twenty years later in 1928.
This has the original sound to it, quaint and interesting.
I loves me the old stuff…
And the Scrubby Thing Detests You
Dishes
Andy Woodhull with a humorous take on overlapping
relationships and the complications inherent within!
He’s a funny guy, he excels in the subtle stuff.
Sometimes you can overthink things…
Honesty is the Best Policy
Four Years of High School Spanish
The Four Postmen with a bouncing ditty about
being bi-lingual and the doors it doth open!
Kinda.
Great band, wicked sense of humor…
After Being Scraped Off the Ceiling…
Clown College
Homer gets it into his head that donning a big red nose
and oversized shoes might be a better career opportunity
than working at the plant!
Stay with this one, the end is shocking…
Groucho Hits it on the Head
The Worse Word
John Mulaney with a clever piece on wordage!
This bit makes a lot of sense, and that really enhances the humor.
He’s a smart guy, pretty funny with a great stage presence.
More to come…
