This is one of the very first pieces that I had
heard from Mr. Lehrer, it cemented his reputation
as an intelligent and twisted source of mirth.
I love playing this song on the show, this is a
live version recorded in Denmark in the 60’s.
There is nobody quite like him…

Canada has given us many great things.
The Frantics is one of them.
A long time favorite of mine, I was fortunate
to see them live in Montreal a few years back.
At the top of the comedy sketch group pile, along
with Monty Python and The Royal Canadian Air Farce
to round out the big three.
