Suicide Hotline
This is a classic comedy sketch from the early
days of The National Lampoon Radio Hour starring
Chevy Chase as a rather upbeat grief councilor!
This is the stuff that made him a top choice for
the cast of Saturday Night Live’s first year.
Back when they were humorous, though you cannot
be faulted if you cannot remember that long ago…
@#$% It, Going Home!
Do You Ski?
John Pinette with a great Winter themed piece of comedy!
This is the time of year we choose to hurtle down mountains
and freeze our digits off, it is only appropriate that there
be some mirth to go with it…
My Coffee? Black!
Song of Many Deaths
The Foremen with a really clever song about going
Toes Up in the Attic before you’re supposed to!
This is a piece that Roy Zimmerman does as a
solo act, he fronted this band for many years and
was a main source of inspiration.
A smart tune, I love stuff like this…
Careful, fresh battery…
A Little More Gauze
Mike Nichols and Elaine May with a superb
comedy sketch about love, indifference, and surgery!
These two were way ahead of their time, WAY ahead.
Mike is no longer with us but Elaine is still here.
Comedy genius…
I Floss in My Sleep…That Count?
Dental Work & Organ Transplants
Tim Young with a pretty funny bit on getting his teeth
worked on while giving away a kidney!
Kind of, but only the first part really.
He does bring up an important point though.
If you see someone walking down the street who needs
a lung give him one of yours, you’ve got two.
That’s the Public Service part of the show.
Did I mention that this is a funny bit…?
