I Got Arrested

Adam Ferrara with a piece of stand-up that reflects the
fun he had as a young man!
He talks about having a run in with the law and how
his father reacted to his predicament.
To put it mildly.
One well chosen naughty bit at the very end.
It wouldn’t have been half as effective had it been
at the beginning.
Profanity is all about placement really…

Winnebago

The Arrogant Worms with an ode to a Summertime vehicle that
slows down traffic everywhere!
I was a field technician for many years and I dreaded
seeing those overpriced apartment buildings on wheels.
Posted speed be damned, we’re gonna take our sweet time!
There’s a reason you cannot legally have fender mounted
machine guns on your car.
The body count on Route #1 in Maine in the Summertime
would be incredible…

So Frickin’ Illegal

Aqua Teen Hunger Force with a slice of deep frying nonsense!
Carl gets screwed again.
This cartoon grows on you.
The characters are quite unique, almost enjoyable.
Did I mention that Carl gets screwed again?
Grease, and yet no John Travolta, strange…

Corn Maze

Andy Woodhull with a humorous anecdote about his
step-kids, getting lost and ordering out!
I like to play him on the show, his style is unique
and his angst hits home.
A pretty funny guy all in all…

On This Day in History

The late, great Steve Goodman was born back in 1948!
He was a very talented singer songwriter who wrote
some pretty well known tunes that others made famous, and
a few that HE made shine in the public eye as well.
His singing voice was a mixture of compassion and
longing, much like the late, great John Denver’s voice was.
And they both shared a unique style that was all their own.
He managed to live far longer than his doctors had told
him he would but he eventually succumbed to leukemia in 1984
many years after he was supposed to have passed.
Keeping this man and his works alive is the least I can do.
This song is about a seemingly timeless subject, Infomercials…
