Brownsville Station first performed this song back in 1977!
It has splendid musicianship, styled to keep your legs
bouncing to the beat, and the lyrics aren’t half bad either.
Supposedly this was quite a gig favorite, the audiences loved it.
As do I, I’ve always been a sucker for a great novelty song.
RIP Cub Coda, you are missed…

The late, great Clay Martin Croker was the voice actor
behind Zorak, the annoying seven foot Mantis that
appeared with Space Ghost and Brak on their animated
cartoon shows.
Zorak had just the right amount of annoying qualities,
perfect for an arch nemesis…irritating, obnoxious,
and quite full of himself!
This slice is off the Space Ghost recording “Surf & Turf”.
There’s a few cuts off that release that I like to play
on the show, this is one of them.
It appears that Mantises have issues with devouring things.
I wouldn’t by a house in Zorak’s neighborhood…
