The Circus Song

The Jim Kweskin Jug Band with a pleasant little ditty
that has certainly found a home on the show!
Great imagery, sublime lyrics, and a cool vibe.
Summer is coming, songs like this prepare me for it.
And I carried water for the elephant…

Comedy 101 Radio Playlist 4.4.19

I played an Aussie block this week.
In more ways than one.
My deepest gratitude goes out to a pretty
cool group of Australian comedy lovers
that have fed my show, in one way or another,
for many years.
Mr. Weird and Wacky, first and foremost, deserves
a huge shout out for all the superb novelty material
that he’s provided.
He hosts a blog that shares all sorts of eclectic, novelty, and W&W stuff that I find fascinating.
This guy has actually located all the really hard to find American material that I cannot get on my own, you can check him out here…

I have found that the folks “Down Under” have a really advanced sense of humor, some of their comedians are as good as it gets.
I’ll spotlight them in the near future.

One Eye Love

Heywood Banks with an irreverent look at his
mono-visioned girlfriend!
Not to mention Paul McCartney’s ex-wife!
I do loves me some snark.
Heywood’s a gas, one of the best comedy musicians
on the planet…
