Comedy 101 Radio Playlist 7.25.19

A little of this and a lot of that.
I managed to get two blocks in this week.
One for the beach, the other is quite dark.
It’s been that type of week.
Some Summery type substances for pleasure.
Mojo Nixon wants to bet on chickens.
Jerry Reed pontificates like no other.
Hope you are having a happy Summer!

Hot Rotten Bean Juice

Riley Armstrong with a humorous song and
video that expresses his love, or lack of it, for
the dark liquid that society needs in the morning.
I quit the stuff years ago and embrace a good
orange pekoe tea in its place.
Riley has skills.
Some of his material is better than others, but
all is pretty good.
A keeper…

How to Deal With Teenagers

Andy Woodhull is a great stand-up comedian, he has a
style all his own…concern, snark, resignation and review.
With some variations.
It’s sounds mundane but he channels it to actually make
you think and laugh after all is said and done.
He’s a thinker, maybe too much, but hey, that’s a step dad!
This is a good bit…

My OCD Song

This Rhett and Link piece made me squirm.
If you don’t have the same reaction you’re a
better mammal than I am.
You probably are anyway but this will be the clincher.
Some of these drove me up a wall!
I truly hope you suffer as much as I…

The Battle of Wits

A superb scene from the classic Rob Reiner directed
1987 flick The Princess Bride.
Wallace Shawn (Vizzini) as the Antagonist,
Cary Elwes (Westley) as the Protagonist, and
Robin Wright Penn (Princess Buttercup)
as the much abused strumpet who seems to
enjoy being kidnapped, blindfolded and dragged
to and fro against her will.
This is a really good movie, it has superb
acting, an eclectic cast of thespians that
should not have gelled as well as they did,
and dialogue that will have you quoting it
for years after you see it.
A bit over the top perhaps but it works mate!
Ask your doctor if Iocane is for you…
