Comedy 101 Radio 7.30.20

Unlike last week this was a smooth show.
It went very well, I was wordy but not
suicide inducing, almost pleasurable.
But not quite.
The usual theme blocks of the inane type.
A classic from Johnny Bond, an oldie but goodie.
2NU has superb production values.
An Emo piece that was voted the best religious
joke of all time, and it well could be.
Brooks and Fraser should have been famous.
Tom doesn’t care, neither do I.
Kathleen couldn’t find any carn.
Not a spelling error.

The Asparagus

Noel Paul Stookey was a founding member of
the much heralded Peter, Paul and Mary trio.
They were the top of the heap on the folk charts
in the 60’s and 70’s, and rightly so.
They were good!
I love the fact the Paul has a superb sense of humor.
And that he records it for all of us to enjoy.
An amusing little piece…

A Plethora of Pinatas

One of my all time favorite movie scenes.
The flick itself, Three Amigos, was an interesting watch
but it was a bit uneven.
It some places it was so silly it was ridiculous, but in
others it was a real treat.
This is one of the latter.
Superb word play, pretty good acting, and some
excellent writing make this a sweet slice of cinema.
Did I mention highly quotable?
