Only We Can Do That…

To Our Pledges!
A humorous piece from the classic 1978 flick, Animal House.
Irreverence is in such abundance in this movie that it’s
hard to pin down who or what it’s making the most fun of.
Everything is game.
In this particular scene it’s authority.
And pledge pins…

Delivering Pizzas

Andrew Norelli with a pretty funny look at some
jobs he had before he became a stand-up comedian.
None of them had anything to do with being a babe magnet.
In that Andrew and I share some similarities.
The highest I ever got on the Magnet list is Mosquito.
Yes, technically they are female but I’m not counting ’em…

It’s Hard to Be Humble

Written by Mac Davis, sung by the immortal Willie Nelson.
The life expectancy for an American man born in 1933 was
61 years of age, Willie has exceeded that by more than 27.
On paper, with his lifestyle and approach to life, he should
not have lasted this long, and yet here he is…

Willie Nelson

Costaki Economopoulos with a great little bit
about everybody’s favorite outlaw.
I had heard this story a while back with some
peripheral info added but this about sums it up.
I love the imagery here, you can just picture
Mrs. Willie smiling silently to herself while
working needle and thread.
One little expletive in the middle, nothing to
worry about unless you’re allergic to profanity.
In which case you’re probably going to die.
Not a big deal really, karma dictates that you
should have died years ago from choking to
death on a Peep, you’re ahead of the game.
Willie is 87 years old, he very well could be
annoying as hell and seriously aggravating to
live with but he must be doing something right…
