Donut Shop Parking

A blast from the past with Bob and Doug McKenzie.
Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas were part of a Canadian
television program called SCTV.
It was primarily a parody of a real television station
albeit one stuffed with crazy, egotistical, self absorbed
low talents with nary a saving grace.
Their role as part of the show was to create a short,
couple of minutes long, piece that reflects Canadian content.
Bob and Doug were born!
I love this stuff, I am half Canadian myself and can relate
quite well to these two hosers.
They are on the lookout for a good parking spot…

California Kid

The Beatfarmers were a killer bar band back in their day.
An outlaw attitude, great musicianship and a drummer
that sounds like god himself.
Here’s an upbeat example of what they can do,
This guy has defective tubes, they keep getting tied…

Can You Spot Me a Twenty?

A great Frank Drebin scene from the hit 1988 flick, The Naked Gun.
The late, great Leslie Nielsen was a serious actor at one time.
He was handsome enough to be a leading man type, and smart
enough to get the better parts.
Somewhere along the line He decided to give humor a try.
We are all thankful that he did!
What a finale he made out of doing comedies towards the
end of his acting career, he pulled it off quite nicely.
Follow this one to the end, it’s pretty funny…

Divorced My Wife…Finally!

After honking on his wife for great comedic effect during
the last several years Mike has taken his matrimonial woes
to a whole new level.
He cranked the humor up a notch as well.
He used to be a cop, quit that high prestige position to
become a stand-up comedian.
Now THERE’S a career bump!
He’s a damn funny man, some great lines here…
