I don’t believe I have ever posted this recording before.
The usual version would be the one made famous by
the late, great Johnny Cash.
This is performed by the guy who wrote it, Shel Silverstein.
The man had character, he had a very unique voice and mind.
And talk about multi-talented…he was a musician, cartoonist,
poet, noted children’s author, and gifted songwriter.
Plus a whole bunch of other stuff we’ll never know about.
This is a classic by any standard…

has a way of derailing a fitness train something fierce.
