Will the Turtle Be Unbroken

I loves me a good parody, and this is one of them.
The Mrs Ackroyd Band with an inspirational tune
of gravity, dense fortification, and the will to live.
In a nutshell, or tortoise shell if you will.
The parody is, of course, poking a bit of fun at a
rather famous folk tune called Will the Circle Be
Unbroken.
Fair game, folk tunes never defend themselves…

If We Only Had a Wheelbarrow

One of the funniest scenes in all of cinema history.
Come to think of it the film itself, The Princess Bride, is as good
as it gets…highly quotable (and then some!), very interesting,
and superbly entertaining on every level.
The casting is outstanding, in this scene we have Andre the
Giant (Andre Rene Roussimoff), Mandy Patinkin, and Cary Elwes
as Fezzik, Montoya, and Westley looking to get past the guards
so they can rescue Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright) from the
evil clutches of Prince Humperdinck (Chris Sarandon).
There’s just one little thing keeping them from doing so.
Okay, maybe more than one…

Grocery Stores

A classic in the making by the incredible Kellen Erskine.
He has elevated snark to an art form, and he’s not even
in your face about it, low level sarcasm at its finest.
He makes the mundane hilarious, but don’t take my
word for it, some great lines here…

“No Smoking”

A Landry and Biener classic.
Some dated name dropping but otherwise a
very humorous comedy sketch.
I can remember when you could actually smoke
in an airplane, not a great time to fly really.
And keep your hands busy…
