Alonzo Bodden with a great look at sports, minorities,
hypocrisy, and the folks who love them.
Alonzo is a very talented stand-up comedian, one of my
current favorites, he’s got great flow and his material is
always spot on.
Some nice lines here…
A thoroughly splendid scene from one of the funniest movies ever made.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail came out in 1975 to rave reviews.
The polls have suggested that it is considered to be the second funniest
movie of all time, right behind “Airplane”.
Sorry, I found that to be a funny movie for all sorts of reasons, but it isn’t
even close to being in the same league as “Holy Grail”.
Monty Python is the top of the heap, except for the brave knights at the
bottom of the ravine, of course…
A classic Cheech and Chong tune from 1985.
A lot of their material is a bit dated, references to the rampant
drug usage of the 60’s and 70’s are a bit old school, as is the
overall look at society back then.
Chong had fun, Cheech not so much…
Jim Gaffigan with a look at getting plump and
blaming it on others.
More or less.
