Life Figured Out!

Hotblack Desiato is an integral part of this scene, Ford Prefect is
doing all the talking though.
A wonderfully intricate back and forth that makes me want to
see the whole series again.
This is from the original BBC television series that aired back in the
early 1980’s, a true masterpiece by the late, great Douglas Adams.
Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy is the beginning of the story line.
This series was six half hour episodes, with British acting as good
as you’ll ever see, a true classic.
I did like the movie that hit the theaters a bit later but this is the
better of the two, even though the special effects are on par
with Doctor Who, the acting really makes it what it is.
David Prowse, Darth Vader much later on in his career, plays
Hotblack’s body guard…

Napolean XIV, Jerry Samuels, came out with this gem
back in the mid 1960’s on a very popular album that
was banned for a while because it seemed to make
fun of folks that were mentally challenged.
It did not, the recording was allowed to continue to
be sold, and it is still talked about today.
Most of it good.
I play it on the show a lot, it’s a great compilation..
This cut sums it all up quite well…

Robert Hawkins has a habit he can’t break.
Because of this his cat, Mittens, has one as well.
Putting Robert’s slippers in the Catbox, just before
getting rid of last night’s feast of Salmon Chunks with Gravy.
A decent trade-off considering the time invested…

Studio C with a pretty humorous look at breaking convention.
The black crayon is surly!
And a bit of a jerk…

The Bobs with a spirited holiday lament.
Great harmonies, with a good range.
It’s that time of year…
