Gizzards, Scrapple and Tripe

about disgusting food.
First hand info, my father loved to eat at his favorite
diner back in the day.
He’d take us after church on Sundays and we’d all
get stuff on really cheap food.
We’d eat burger plates or something similar, he would
always choose either liver and onions, or tripe.
My father grew up pretty poor, that was his excuse.
I will graze in a field of wheat before I eat tripe…
