This is a superb piece of sketch humor by a group that does
not usually do that, a country and western band that goes
by the name of Riders in the Sky.
They have produced a bunch of decent recordings over the
years, most of which deal with western/cowboy themes.
Every now and then they do a humorous ditty or two and this is
probably the cream of the crop…The Ballad of Palindrome!

Maryellen Hooper is a tremendous stand-up comedian with a
great stage presence, a nice personality and some
superb material, she really makes me chuckle.
Here she is at the Montreal “Just for Laughs” Comedy Festival!

Ah yes, things are starting to open up on YouTube.
This video is by a Canadian comedy troupe that I have
been extolling the virtues of since the 90s.
They used to be called the Radio Free Vestibule, they
now go by The Vestibules.
I have seen them perform many times, mostly in Montreal
where they are from, and I have never been disappointed.
Here they are doing a low key comedy skit that describes
a lot of the music you hear on the radio now-a-days.
