Kyle Kinane is a favorite stand-up comedian of mine that I
love to give air time to!
One of his talents is making you think he’s something
he’s not, and what he is not is unintelligent and apathetic.
In a way he reminds me of Emo Philips in that the main
objective is to come across as someone who’s a bit
disconnected, maybe even a little daft.
using that as a cover of sorts they both then inject a
significantly higher level of intellect into the proceedings.
High comedy from a low source is an old paradigm, they make it
seem fresh and very funny.
With Kyle, what you see is not what you get.
And that is a good thing…
