Jacob Rodney Cohen!
The life of the late, great Rodney Dangerfield is one of legend.
He certainly had his ups and down but overall he created some
classic stand-up comedy, one liners that will live on for ages.
He was doing well, then couldn’t find work during the sixties.
Then he hit it big again…Movies, HBO Specials, more movies.
Not bad when you consider that he was so deep in debt in the
1960s that he was forced to sell aluminum siding for a living.
He performed his craft for over 40 years until his death in
2004, his headstone says
“Rodney Dangerfield…There Goes the Neighborhood”

He got respect.
I still get requests for him on the show!
