The late, great Bill Hicks was born back in 1961!
I consider myself very lucky to have been the only
comedy show host to be allowed to tape and
be part of the first tribute to Bill Hicks at the
Montreal Comedy Festival back in the mid 90s.
Bill was one of a kind, nobody quite like him.
He was brash, profane and very intelligent…one
of the very best stand-up comedians on the planet.
He started doing stand-up at the age of 16, a real
prodigy, and he made the best of it.
Shows all over the world and a godlike status in
Great Britain, all richly deserved.
