Also known as the Crunchy Frog sketch, and The Trade
Description Act.
An absolute classic by Monty Python, right up there
with their best pieces.
Depending on when it was performed and who did
what role this skit was modified to reflect the crowd
and the location.
This particular one was from their show at The Hollywood
Bowl back in 1982, a superb affair with all of the principal
members in fine form.
I almost didn’t post this one, it has French subtitles, though
not a distraction in any way, but the quality of the video is
quite good and it really makes Terry Jones, Graham Chapman,
and Terry Gilliam look awesome.
You’ll laugh, and you’ll learn French as well, gotta love it!
It is an inadequate description of the sweet meat…
