Harry Shearer provides the voices for both
Smithers and Burns in this wonderful piece.
Off of the first Simpson’s recording, Simpson’s
Sing the Blues from 1990.
These were the early days when Bart was always
a brat and Homer was usually a short fused idiot.
Thankfully the series has evolved into a more
well rounded and smarter animation.
I was fortunate enough to see the original cast
do a live episode of a Simpson’s show at the
Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival a while back.
I realize it isn’t really stating much but it IS still one of the
best things on television.
The videos were edited together by Kris Griffiths to go
with the original recording, very well done.
