One of the funniest scenes in film history!
From Mel Brook’s classic Young Frankenstein,
Gene Hackman and Peter Boyle as the hermit
and the large green thing, respectively.
It really helps if you saw the original Frankenstein
flick from 1931, a movie way ahead of its time and
a super flick even if you don’t care for horror.
The original was superb, as good as they come, and
this spoof takes a hard hilarious poke at it.
When Mel was on top of his game there was nobody better.
I love the look on his face when he flees the shack…
