Railroad Bill

Warning, I’m about to sound like an old timer!
This great song is by Andy Breckman, writer and
performer in this instance, and it’s one of the first
pieces I ever played on the show way back when.
Early 90’s, got a call from a rather small recording
company in Vermont called Gadfly Records.
I talked to the owner for a while and agreed to
review, and play if worthy, any comedy that he
might represent.
Andy Breckman was one such act, I loved his material,
and have been playing him ever since.
Mr. Breckman went on to be quite a talented producer,
creating the highly rated Monk television series, he wrote
for many others, and was known as a script doctor, injecting
humor into scripts that were lacking same.
He wrote for Saturday Night Live, back when it was funny,
for many years, starting from the very beginning.
This is an interesting ditty, lots of imagination, the visuals
are quite good, a couple of naughty words that might make
a nun blush a tad but nothing major…
