An Arlo Guthrie original.
There are many versions of this tune, this is not the
one that I played on the show this past week but it’s
an early recording from 1968 and it is fresh.
He has a great feel for the crowd, his rapport is real.
I met him years ago in Portland Maine, his security
people worked with my group.
From what I understand he retired in 2020 after a
55 year career in folk music.
There’s a lot of Arlo out there, this is a good tune
to start with if you have never heard his material…
