A great show this week, I received a few requests for
some obscure material and got many laughs from some
of the classics.
That last part makes me the happiest.
My reason for keeping the show going as long as I have
is to keep the material fresh and the artist alive long after
they pass on.
Even the dated stuff can be appreciated for the historical
perspective it provides, the foundation for today’s comedy.
Logan Whitehurst starts it off with contrast.
Greg Warren is a great stand-up comedian.
Food block.
Classic Pinette.
No Time with a tune that is sung a lot around here.
Seems to trigger the dark parts of my younger relatives.
I sing it right along with them.
Don Novello at his best.
As is Groucho.
Baby Block.
Why?
Not really sure, I don’t really like them.
Neal Gladstone with a confusing but satisfying ditty.
Lorne got dark!
