Finding a decent video on the net from The Royal Canadian
Air Farce is difficult, they were more of an audio only
type of comedy sketch group, they were a CBC Radio based
entity for many years after all, so that makes sense.
I make a big deal over it because these folks are as good as
it gets, in the same company as Monty Python, The Frantics,
The Dead Alewives and others…it is my belief that the only
group that was better was John Cleese and the gang, that’s how
much I think of these talented people.
I’m always searching for their classic material and I’m sure
it will be here someday, even if it’s just a fan tribute I’ll
post the heck out of it. Until then please enjoy this great
little skit made during the 1994 Olympics by the late GREATS
John Morgan and Roger Abbott, they passed away not that long ago
but their genius lives on, as does the RCAF, albeit in a
diminished capacity…
