A very funny slice of The Naked Gun flick that came out
back in 1988, starring Leslie Nielsen.
The way I understand it, Police Squad, the television series
that preceded this movie lasted only six episodes before
being cancelled in 1982.
One would have thought that it would be the end of it.
They decided to turn the series into a fairly big budget
movie and it did wonders at the box office.
Go figure.
Glad it did though, it was pretty damned funny!
Leslie was the perfect choice to play Frank Drebin.
This scene pretty much encapsulates what the story lines
are in both the TV series and the movies that came after…
