This slice of Humor is from a Burt Reynolds flick called Cannonball Run, a 1981 classic.
The doctor in question is Jack Elam, a very established actor with a slew of bad guy
roles in mostly westerns, but had many parts in other movies as well.
He played a “Heavy” quite well, he had a lazy eye which made him look a bit sinister.
The part he plays here was made for the guy, a real twisted quack that just oozes
insanity, gotta love it…
