Barret Hansen was born back in 1941!
I have got to give credit where MUCH credit is due.
Better known as Doctor Demento, Mr. Hansen is
the man who started it all way back in 1970!
His novelty based radio program caught my ear
back in the early 70’s and nothing has been the
same since then.
He is also a wealth of knowledge in the area of
American blues, R&B and Country music,
having a degree in ethnomusicology.
His real genius is having kept us laughing all these years!
He certainly knows what humor is, spotlighting the best
of musical comedy on his program, he has provided us with
MANY hours of mirth and comedy mayhem over the years.
