Cleavon Little’s birthday is today…June 1st, 1939.
And Gene Wilder’s is coming soon…June 11th, 1933.
Both of these late, greats should be remembered for
some of the most iconic roles in comedy history.
This stupendous piece has them both together!
It’s such a sweet scene, a truly special moment where
Gene is trying to explain to the new sheriff why he
shouldn’t be too discouraged about the town’s people
not warming up to the “new guy”.
I have watched this over and over again, in a movie filled
to the brim with special moments this one really stands out…
