Mike Armstrong is one heck of a stand-up comedian.
He’s one of the funniest folks on the circuit and I play
him on the show every chance I get.
Believe it or not, he was actually a police officer for years!
He quit to do comedy and has never looked back.

Paul Reubens is a one of a kind comedian of the highest order.
There really was nothing quite like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, it
had Shoe Mirrors, Miss Yvonne, Jimmy Smits, Laurence Fishburne
AKA Cowboy Curtis, Jambi, a zany cast of talking household
items and, of course, Pee-Wee himself…great stuff all!

She falls below most radar and that is unfortunate, she’s
as good as they come…a very funny lady.
Here she is at the Montreal Comedy Festival giving it her
all at one of the larger events there, the Galas.
Here she talks about men and women and how they interact.

Lorne Elliott is a Canadian comedy institution and
deservedly so, he’s one of the funniest people on the planet.
I have seen him live and he gave me a great interview in
his dressing room after the show, that is a sign of a
gracious and giving comic for sure.
He does so many things well…stand-up and performing superb
comedy songs are his strong suit but he’s also very talented
songwriter.
He was a host of Madly Off in All Directions on CBC Radio Canada
and I never missed a show when I was camping on the border.

One of the very best comedy troupes to ever grace a stage,
The Frantics have been making us laugh for over 30 years.
A true Canadian treasure, I put them right up there with
Monty Python and The Royal Canadian Air Farce for shear mirth.
They don’t perform like they used to but they do the occasional
gig much to the delight of their numerous fans.
This is a neat little skit that reminds me of the Saturday
Night Live gang, back when they were funny.
