Hercules

Dan Cummins works out in a gym where he is
the youngest and most fit, and he’s good with that.
Years ago when I lived in another city I had a
membership at the YMCA, where I too was the
physically fit standard by which to judge others.
When you are surrounded by folks whose
average age is just under “My god, I had no idea
you were still alive!” you look like a god.
There’s a moral there somewhere.
Hang out with people who under achieve, they
make you look great!
Works for me…

Happy Boy

Hubba Hubba Hubba Hubba Hubba!
Could not have put it better myself.
The Beat Farmers and the late, great
Country Dick Montana with a tune
for those of us that wear helmets.
Tighten your brain bucket strap and
sing it loud…

It’s So Fluffy!

I have posted this once before, but it being a classic
piece of Cartoon Family Bonding Fluff (hence the title)
the urge to do so again has taken over.
It’s a pretty funny scene, Gru gets a well deserved shot
in against the carny trade and it works quite well.
The kids are a hoot as well.
Although severe diabetes can result if the cute factor
spikes to glucose saturating levels.
Watch it slowly, just in case…

Running

This bit by the very talented Greg Warren is hilarious.
He has really improved over the years, and he was no
hack to begin with, certainly.
Master of the deadpan delivery, not to mention Jedi
class snark, he can be downright hysterical.
A lot of things had me relate to this set, it made me
laugh out loud in places.
And, no I cannot run at all.
I am really into fitness and my conditioning is in a
very comfortable place, but I bike, I cannot run.
In the old sci-fi/horror/suspense flicks you always had
a women fleeing the monster/alien/villain for a
grand total of fifteen feet before falling face first
into the ground, tripping over god knows what…
that’s ME, every time I try to run.
I make girls look manly.
It’s so bad I’ve hidden my Guy Card so they can’t take it away.
Some great lines here…

The Rattlin’ Bog

A very nice effort from our friends at Darby O’Gill.
I interviewed these guys a while back and they
were a riot, especially Scott Messer the lead singer.
A really talented band with a great sense of humor.
With an aversion to squirrels I might add.
A satisfying performance, very well done…
