What a killer scene, in more ways than one.
From one of the very best movies ever made.
That is NOT hyperbole, Dr. Strangelove is a
superb example of both parody and satire
all in one outstanding Stanley Kubrick
cinematic package.
Some of the scenes are downright chilling,
others hilarious, all are top notch.
A lot of that has to do with the acting, some
of the best thespians to ever gather in one flick.
Sterling Hayden plays General Ripper, Peter
Sellers is British officer Lionel Mandrake.
Ripper is going nuts, launching a nuclear strike
against Russia and Mandrake is trying to stop him.
What a bunch…what a flick…what a scene…
